Hello,

Hopefully someone can help with this as I have been searching like mad and can't find anything similar, I don't want to go to a garage and get ripped off.

Peugeot Expert mk2 2016 ATV 2.0 130 model. Approx 75000 miles

I am getting P2566 error code on my friends Foxwell Automaster pro - Turbo position repeat signal valve blocked when engine switched off.

I have been told it is the turbo repeat sensor, but when I looked that up it says revs bog down and acceleration is rubbish, mine is the opposite, it revs up to around 3k and accelerates like crazy, then once it is up to speed the revs settle, it idles fine as well, it is mainly 3rd to 6th gear, 1st and 2nd seem ok, someone said clutch but if it is accelerating ok and no smell etc surely it isn't clutch?

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

It could be the vnt system is sticking so the ecu is getting an incorrect reading from the repeat sensor ie it should be in parked position with engine not running and sensor is saying otherwise

Thank you, if that is the case is it an easy fix or will it be the turbo is failing and needs replacing?

Sometimes if its just the linkage a bit of lubrication and (when cold ) hand operating the linkage back and forth a few times can sort it.

Other times you need to drop the exhaust down pipe and use a turbo vnt cleaner (lots of people have good results with things like mr muscle drain cleaner) but I prefer the proper kit with the neutraliser it worked fine on son in laws old golf tdi.

Worst case is turbo off and strip/clean or exchange.

I would go with linkage first and double check for movement when engine started and stopped

All sorted, it was the wastegate, loads of rust inside and everything had seized up, got loads of wd40 in there and moved it all by hand now everything is fine. I guess due to it's location where all the water etc can get inside.
