Hi all,

Got a problem with a 308 1.6hdi 2011 model, it only has 37k on it and I've bought it to commute to work.

Basically it has had a p2562 error for about a month now, I've had it in to 3 garages (one being a Peugeot specialist) and my own mechanic for 4 days and no one can find what is wrong. They just keeping saying it will fix itself but I've done about 600 motorway miles and Italian turned it a good few times and this p2562 keeps coming back.

I bought the actuator turbo position sensor- no difference

I've just installed the boost converter sensor and now I have a lot more boost (before the max was 7psi, now it is about 13 psi) but I still get p2562.

I have noticed something on my torque pro, the car doesnt get an EML whilst it shows boost and vacuum on the torque pro gauge but after maybe 5 mins the vacuum gauge goes to zero and the EML will come on.

I can't find any leaks vacuum or otherwise and given a peugeot garage don't have a clue I'm kind of stuck here. I don't mind installing cheap parts but running out of them now.

Anyone any suggestions?

Btw I'm in Glasgow so I'm happy to try another specialist if anyone knows one.

Thanks

P2562For SID 803; Check for turbo control vacuum supply, possibly too weak. Look at other solenoid valves for vacuum leakage. (Stable 750mb vacuum with engine running).
this code was from this site
Code Descriptions

hope it helps.

Very happy to take it somewhere else, Falkirk is fine. Does this person have a garage?
He repairs Peugeots, that is for sure! You would struggle to find another with his knowledge/experience. Check his posts on the forum +12,800 and climbing...PROFILE

I'm sure he will pop in to this thread soon but PM him if he doesn't.

Yes i am in bonnybridge and do have a garage sounds like your loosing vacuum somewhere and this is causing your issue vac leaks are common and always overlooked as a reason for boost issues.

If you can't PM me please let me know and we can sort out something else.

While I wait on reliable406 to get back to me, is there anything else I can check easily?

The car is now showing upto 18psi in boost, max was about 7-8 psi before with the old sensor. no vacuum showing though for a few days. Seems sporadic when it has vacuum showing on torque pro gauge and when not.

Torque cannot measure the vacuum system as there is no sensor signal to tap into for a reading whatever its reporting as vacuum is wrong :)

Planet/diagbox cannot measure vacuum for the same reason.

Did you get the pms buddy?

If you can't do this can you plug it in for me and show me the live data?

I'd rather just drop it off though if I can and you do your thing :)

Any help would be great.

Unfortunately reliable406 is a hard man to get a hold, our paths are struggling to cross and I need to get this fixed. Mot is a whisker away, can anyone point me towards the software I need or recommend someone in Glasgow area that can plug this in?
