Thank You Save2.
Mine car engine is DIESEL DV6FD ...

Best, Filo.
If you find the whole PCB from used car,I prefer to take it. Just make sure it pre-2018. If not : the black tube pump will also work.
The reason I never checked if the pump was the only point of failure.
The failure might be also some capacitor or something..
Anyhow, used PCB costs around 75€

Jonsy could you post a How to do it on here
It's really quite a simple job. There are three fixings holding the tank assembly to the car. I released them with a jack on a sheet of plywood under the tank for support. Lowered it slowly till I could remove the wires and adblue hose then lowered to the ground. The pump is secured with a number of set screws which are undone so that it can be removed. I replaced it with the 'new' item and refitted in the reverse order. Started the car and it just worked and has now done so for over four months.

recall

Hi everyone,

I'm new, and I just joined the P20E8 fault.

Can I first ask if anyone knows what was the RECALLS NUMBER for the new version of the cap?

As my dealer failed to inform me about it - so I know face the issue of replacing the tank.
many thanks
Magic

You won't find a recall to the cap. Recall is only for safety hazards.
The only documentation for the error is hidden inside Peugeot dealers and is called TSB.
Thanks I've been saying Recall I guess easier to say than Technical Service Bulletin.

What surprises me in these days of most things on the internet Peugeot are managing to keep these things secret.

Dealers must get good rewards from doing them as I find them most keen to carry the work out of TSB s.

Peugout and others prefer to keep TSB internal knowledge. Too much information might intimidate customers.
Furthermore, TSB is free to customers only if under warranty.
Well as I said they were very keen to carry the work out for me all 6 of them during warranty.
Does not worry me to know about them in fact happy to have had them done during warranty thus saving me a lot of money if the parts had failed now or in future.

Mine was recalled to have a new cap fitted and that recall was on the .Gov web site. The notification was taken down after it had been carried out.
I have since checked the new cap and found that it does NOT pass any air so next to useless. Not sure what to do about it now! Really don't want another pump to go.

Hello all

I have a 64 plate 2.0 diesel auto with 37k miles.

Last week got emissions fault, service light, flashing urea light then engine fault light.

Took it into Peugeot dealer and came back saying new tank needed which I suppected after reading this topic.

ÂŁ1080 quoted.

Anyone had a luck lately with cheaper option but not to time consuming?

Things like this just piss me right off. Excuse my French.

Last Monday my my display

Was the car ever subject to the recall on the Adblue tank filler cap? If that wasn't done you could be able to hold the dealer responsible. Might depend on the history, has it been serviced at a Peugeot dearship, and did Peugeot know you are the owner?

Do you have better quality images? I can't make out much in the first one and the second one is only a little better,
