I'm a new diagbox owner/user, and I'm not quite sure of the feelings towards us new users at the moment, but I'm going to ask for help anyway.

As the title says, I've got a P1351 code Preheating relay circuit.

I can't clear the fault code, I get this message. (see picture)

I did an actuator test, the relay is working.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Have you clicked on the green tick? Think that's what it's asking you to do then you'll av to fill in some details like mileage.

Fault won't clear as you probably need new glow plugs

I've clicked the tick. it asks for the millage of the car next then says it's been unsuccessful.

Would the car not regenerate if it needed new plugs?
According to diagbox, it is.
128km since the last regeneration.....could they have failed in that time?

Yeah glow plugs needed for regen, can you go in through planet instead of diagbox
Plugs could fail at anytime.

Had the job priced up at two garages.
£150 and £180 respectively......not too bad I guess. :)
Just need to get in touch with a friend of a friend, see if he can knock a few quid off.

Hooked up diagbox this morning and it looks like the car is regenerating.
Filter load was 0 and the kilometres since last regeneration were 0 also.
Must have regenerated this morning as I was out and about.

Confused to say the least, thought it wouldn't regenerate if the plugs were faulty.

Probably still get them done at some point soon, then hopefully I can clear the fault code.

Update.

I've had the glow plugs changed and still can't clear the fault code.
Buying diagbox was the worst Thing I've ever done.

Think I'll change the relay and see if that works.

Check fuse 6 on the unit on the battery positive terminal. Let me know if it doesn't have one, then pm me last 8 of chassis.

This may be a silly question but the fuses on the battery are bolted down, does the battery have to be disconnected to remove them?
Fuse 6 is present. Last 8 digits are ********
