hi all, had a search round and not seen much info on this subject. read a fault code on the car and it came up as above. apparently could be anything from a loose wire to complete egr replacement. anyone had this issue or any ideas on it? thanks in advance. shane

Clear the fault.

If it pops back up, clear again and remove the contact, take it for a short spin.
Now you will get a new fault for Bank b, or one same code for B and a new for A depending on which is which.

No idea how the 2,7 looks like under the bonnet, but EGR´s are usually a slideing or piston valve accompanied by a vacuum or ekectrically controlled motor.

Not much you can do except take it off, clean the mechanics and eletric contacts and test it again, it either works or its beyond repair.

thanks to kent407 last night who plugged it into his diag box. also did an actuator test and found that the front egr at fault (the one thats a little easier to get to). so now its either to replace or see if its fouled.
