Hi guys thanks for allowing me to join 😁 (apologies if this post is too long)
I hope its not too soon or presumptuous to ask for help please...
I've had my Peugeot 3008 2011 1.6HDi S/A for about 3 years now but I'm also an absolute noob to all your Peugeot planet stuff.
Just over a week ago I got an Engine fault light and the little warning ⚠ with a message that says 'P Filter Add too low'
I've had it at the garage and had the additive refilled but they couldn't get the warning lights off.
I'm in the southside of Glasgow.
Is there any other way I can get this done please?
Thanks 😉

Did they have a diagnostic machine to reset the counters and could not do it or did they just fill additive.

It the later you need to see if there is anyone on the Planet map near you who maybe able to reset the counters to put the light out

They said they tried to reset it and couldn't 🤷🏻‍♂️
I've had a look at the map but I'm actually a bit nervous of just messaging someone about it 🤣
Especially since I'm new and it just looks like that's all I'm after...

No they just said they tried to clear it a couple of times and had no luck.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback 😊

@Joe McL Hi Joe & Welcome to the forum.
Are you referring to the Eolys additive (older models) as apposed to AdBlue (newer models)?

I had to refill my Eolys tank earlier this year. I made contact with a local forum member with Planet, who was able to reset the counters. However, this wasn't a straightforward process! There were multiple settings that needed changing, with some scattered deep in sub-menu's and involved a lot of toing & froing. It certainly wasn't a 'one click' process and took almost 40mins to get sorted.

Hi mate,
Thanks for the welcome.
Yeah it was that Eolys fluid I had refilled.
I've tried contacting a couple of members who are on the map altho they all seem to not have any activity on here for around 12 months...
I'm in Glasgow and willing to travel, providing the car makes it 🤣

Don't quote me exactly on this, but I vaguely remember hearing/reading that even with the Eloys tank filled, the car will still think the tank is low/empty until the counters are reset. This might have a detrimental impact on the DPF if not done sooner rather than later. But like I said - don't take that as absolute gospel!!

I've noticed that activity on here can appear slow sometimes. If you haven't already done so, send a PM to those you've spotted anyway. Maybe also look for a different garage that specialises in Peugeot's. They're more likely to have proper Peugeot diagnostics and might even know where all the resets are?!

This one came up in a google search, but based north Glasgow Tuga garage. Couldn't find anything on the southside!

The older forum software was better - when you logged in you got a pop-up showing that you had a private message. You also got an email, which was good for those Planet owners who don't come on here a lot.

You get neither now. I often forget to check to see if I have any PMs and some people have been left waiting weeks for a reply from me!

Thanks for your help and feedback 👍🏻
Very much appreciated mate 😁

Thanks mate, I've had a reply and just waiting on another to set a time.
I actually did get emails to let me know when I had a reply, both for this thread and in pm. 🙂

So fingers crossed we can agree something 🤞🏻🤣🤣
