Hi guys,
I have a problem with my Peugeot 407 2.0 HDI 2004.
On board display is shown that external temperature is almost 70 deg. Celsius. I suppose that inMirror temp. sensor is faulty but I want to hear from someone who knows it better.

Beside that, AC ventilator became too loud so I can hear it in cabin. Is it possible that AC system is always working on highest gear trying to "cool down" this "inferno" that sensor is signaling?

When I turn air-conditioner off, that loud noise of ventilator stops, so I suppose that ventilator form AC is: faulty(need to be oiled or something) or always working with highest speed due to a "high temperature outside". There is no gradation in ventilator's work, only full speed or nothing(when OFF).

Question is:
If I change this little dome sensor in right mirror, will that be enough to repair misreading of outdoor temperature or I have to change something else?

Sorry if my English isn't very good..
