Hi guy's,
Today I cleaned the MAF sensor on my 307 2003, diesel 2.0 ltr.
when I took the sensor out I noticed there was oil in the air intake pipe ( after the sensor piece ). Is this normal ? and if not I would be grateful for any advice on what to do with it.

Thanks

Granville

Some oil in the intake is quite normal but if the car is producing any blue smoke it needs to be looked at without delay as this can indicate turbo seal failure. Yes sensors do clog up on turbo diesels from time to time.

Both the 307's I owned had a small amount of oil in the intake plumbing. Think I only cleaned the MAF sensor the once when I sprayed EGR cleaner in but it never cause me any issues on either car.
