My car that I loved is starting to become a real problem and I am scared that its going to cost me a massive amount of money soon which I cannot afford.

When driving the turbo kicks in and there is a loudish whoosing sound (like air whoosing but not like whistling from some videos I have seen)

This also tends to lead to "Unblock Diesel Filter" error message and if I continue accerlerting "Antipollution Fault" and car goes into a limp mode. However if I eas off downto about 1k-1.5k revs the error clears after about a minute.

I also get a mixture of black smoke and grey/white smoke out the back

I have had the additive refilled upon getting warning it was run out (it wasn't) and the ECU reset.

I have had a forced regen from pp2000

I have done many bypass runs to force regen

I have done static regens just keeping the revs above 3k for 10 minutes.

I have used multiple DPF cleaners/regens in the fuel tank

I have had a major service from Halfords.

Please can someone advise. I am planning to take it to the mechanic but I really cannot afford a big bill but then again i'd rather pay to get this fixed then the turbo packing up on me and screwing the engine.

Would it help for me to get a sound recording of it?

Also no loss of power turbo still works well unless i'm in limp mode of course.
