I've just been out for the first night drive and I must say I'm well impressed. The LED headlights, the first I've had experience of, are first rate. Combined with the automatic high beam on/off and directional headlight functions they take some beating.

The rear camera is better than my old 3008 in low light and the mood lighting though not necessary is, if I may use a younger persons phrase, cool.

All in all after now having driven in both day and night conditions I'm well pleased with the car.

Now if only they can sort out the Live Services I'll be a very happy chappy.

In case any Allure to-be-owners are reading, the allure spec does have mood lighting but not blue. You can set it's level too using the touch screen. Having had both at night - the allure's is more subtle than the GT.

Agreed, it does look very nice at night!

I thought there might be problem with mine when I first tried it at night, as none of the ambient lights worked.... for some reason the default setting had them all switched off.... soon rectified!

Not played with it much since (only had it 4 days), but the fact you can vary the brightness of the ambient lighting will no doubt help soften it for those who like it a little, but not too much!

Thank for that info Nick as although I've looked all over my poor car I've not had chance to see either the inside or the outside at night :light:. Perhaps next week , if I'm lucky

The Peugeot brochure says that Allure has blue ambient lighting. Is this not the case?

Can someone explain to me what the differences are between the Allure, GT Line and GT.
I understand the GT is the all bells and whistles top-of-the-range but is the GT line basically an Allure plus image additions or something more ?.

ps; it'd be handy if everyone showed their particular vehicle they are ordering so I can work out if it directly relates to my intentions....(we're still waiting for ours)
Not wanting to divert the thread .....carry on chaps/chapesses

I did a difference between the allure and others before I got mine and spent the day+night with the GT (sounds rude but it was monogynous!)

I think we can probably define them better than the brochure for the UK now.

I'm probably a bit odd in liking more of a lounge room style decor such as brown/black seats rather than the funereal black on black look....is that available?.
I take it the opening sunroof is a cost option on the Allure, if so, how much is it?

Never drove it, the one i test drove had a fixed roof. My BMW had a similar pano roof and that was ok on the motorway at 60 to 70. I just don`t see the point with climate control to be honest i know it brightens the cab but mine spent most of it`s life closed due to the hot sun shining through the glass.

Tootling in winter temps with heater on.....or hot summer nights in the big cities.....definitely NOT with hot sun.

I think the Panoramic roof is around £950, one reason i didn`t go for it. It also eats away at the head room a little apparently.
Yep. I did the same when ordering. The demo vehicle i drove was GT Line and my brother 6' 2" felt like not enough headroom but never touched the head on the lining and there was sufficient space but thought even little higher would be advantages on the feeling we get when we ride. The other it is costly option for Allure and as most panoramic roof it open halfway and when i drive on hot sunny day I still got a feeling of heat seeps from the above due to the retracting fabric type glass panel covering.
