The engine is reported to be 1.6l 90hp from a 1997 306 XR The number on the engine block is in the photo attached NFZ PSA 10FXOD 0037059. It runs good but the mechanic that did the engine change did not do a nice job on the wiring. Wires cut and patched. Bad crimps and terminals. Sharp holes in the firewall with no grommets. No fuses. It is fuel injected and runs good though rich. None of the gauges work. The fan is always on. So I need some wiring diagrams. And a repair manual or at least specs for the engine plugs, fluids, fuses. Anything I can get. I got a manual on the internet but does not mention the NFZ code. The book I got on the internet lists a XU engine as a 1.6l with Multi-point injection.
XU5J, XU5JA, XU5JA/K, XU51C/K, XU9JA, XU9JA/K . . . . . Bosch LE2-Jetronic
XU9J1/Z, XU9J1/L . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Bosch LU2-Jetronic
XU9JA/Z, XU9JA/L . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Bosch Motronic M1.3
I do not know witch one it is or if it is.

NFZ is engine type from chassis code and is what peugeot call it

XU is the engine FAMILY so being a 1.6 makes it an XU5 as XU9 engines are the 1.9 engines

XU5JA most likely but all XU5 engines are similar
