Hi there,

Just registered now, ive just bought a 2006 pug 307 1.6 HDI estate with 110,000K on he clock, love it to bits, its fun to drive aswell as being practical for the family. However, just got a couple of queries which im hoping some of you might know the answer to, so here goes:

1 - clutch feels quite high, its fine for now but i fear that at some point it will need a new one on, any ideas on cost for a new clutch assy fitted?

2 - dashboard warning lights - when ignition turned on, the central stop light, airbag, handbrake etc all light up except the bottom row (i.e. heaterplugs, oil pressure and battery lights). It doesnt matter to me really but would just like to know if anyone else has had this problem before?

3 - Any ideas on typical servicing costs?

Thanks in advance

hi andy

1. clutch kit about £100, labour 4hrs out 4hrs in , price depends who you use.

2. lights on mine are the same , only worry if they stay on.

3. service , oil filter £12 , oil £15 , fuel filter £25 , labour 1-2hrs.

this is all just a guide hope it helps.:jedi:

Thanks,

Thats what i thought abt the clutch - best get saving then!

not too fussed about the lights, as long as they light up to indicate a problem then thats the main thing.

Was contemplating doing service myself but if i can find somewhere cheap will get it done, afterall the cars got a FSH up to present!
