Hi all,
I recently bought a 2016 308. Happy with the car and all but one thing that I noticed is that the clutch pedal is higher than the other pedals.

The brake and accelerator pedals are on the same level but the clutch is a few cms higher.

As I never owned a Peugeot nor a French car before, I am wondering if it's normal for a 308 or I should get it looked at?

Many thanks,

There is a known issue with the clutch slave cylinder - sometimes when I change gear the clutch pedal returns higher then before, mine had the slave cylinder replaced under warranty but it's exactly the same.

They also squeak during operation in hot weather requiring lubricant on the ball joint - again a known issue.

Thank you. Is it an expensive job do you reckon?
