New one ordered

Love my mk1 face-lift 2008. Being very tall the icockpit works well for me, and it's just perfect size wise - big enough for me & the missus and the dog and not a superfluous inch more.

I've kept it longer than I normally would and it is essentially just a dog van now, but today I've ordered a new Premium Plus 1.2 to take over dog van duties.

My daily drive is already electric (and im waiting for a new one of those to arrive as well) and I suspect this will be the last ICE car I ever buy. Dealers suggesting 3ish months, and I couldn't care less which side of 1st September it falls because a) it'll be a long term keeper, b) I couldn't care what the neighbours think, and c) ill transfer my cherished plate onto it anyway.

It'll be Peugeot #12 between me and the missus and I'm hoping is turns out to be as pleasant all round as the outgoing one.

I love my e2008 which is leased and goes back in December. I am so desperate to get the e308 now as I think that is a stunning car and think Peugeot have done a great job on styling all there new range. e308 looks like its being pushed back to end of the summer but I will straight there as soon as pre orders open.

We also got the 2018 5008 as the family car and love that as much as my own car.

I'm not doing many miles so can't justify the extra cost of the e2008 (my daily is electric anyway) and its going to get smegged up with labrador hair and the like anyway.

Just signed the order for my 2008 GT EAT8 today. I think electric is a huge step in car tech, however the charging infrastructure isn't keeping up, so my foray into an electric vehicle will be when I am forced to by legislation.
We're on out 3rd EV, never had an issue with charging.
