Hi newbie here, Ive just purchased an 807. Specs are: Peugeot 807, 2007, 2.0 Hdi, Diesel, 40000 miles. Ive been searching some forums and there is a lot of talk about 807 cambelt failures. I wanted to know whether they apply to my 2007 model aswell. If so, would you advise to have the cambelt changed? Also, the car only came with one key, Ive managed to get another key but need some help on how to program the key to my car?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Cam belt failure does occur regularly on these BUT its not always the belt that is the cause I would get it done as at 40000 its technically not due but at 6 years old I would do it anyway !

The cam followers/rockers can also fail and this sometimes causes the belt to fail as they will sometimes jam the camshafts.

Your replacement key must be new and unused to be programed and it must be done with the original IE program both keys together.
