Hi is wave2 the Map for my 3008 2018 model?

 

Pretty sure it is. What map version do you currently have?

 

Not sure I think version 17,18 haven't updated for years.

 

Yes, you should be fine with the 24.0.0-r0-NAC WAVE2 mapping. Expect to wait about 45 minutes for the process to complete.

Bumping this as I’m having trouble updating my maps.

I’ve downloaded the maps through My Peugeot app (well did firmware and maps at the same time) the firmware worked fine but the maps failed to install.

Downloaded the maps alone again, transferred to USB drive and again failed!

Going to try the link above from Nate (seems a good bloke, nice thanks) and extract the tar to the drive. Any pointers to get it working as I’m currently on v3 of the maps and I can’t drive home as it didn’t exist in 2016 😂

 

Are you using macOS? If so, you need to use the CleanMyDrive2 app before ejecting the USB flash drive. Even if you use the "Peugeot Update" software.

 

I am using a Mac.

when you say before ejecting the drive, do you mean use CleanMyDrive to wipe the flash drive before losing the software, or is there something that has to be done before ejecting/removing the drive from my mac?

 

Run that app after Peugeot Update prepared your flash drive and before ejecting/removing the drive from your mac. Now you just probably need to insert the flash drive, run the app and eject the drive.

The CleanMyDrive doesn't wipe all your data on the flash drive, it just removes system files that were automatically copied and interfere with the update process - new files, different folder contents, different checksums, failed update.

Need a little help trying to do upgrades i get the email for peugeot update app however when i click the link i get a 503 error from site

 

Similar issue, tried to download screen update and map update. Screen update, down loaded, entered to pen drive and updated to car all ok. However the map update will not down load from site says connection error. I have tried to download Peugeot update app again from email link and this comes up with 503 error. Anyone else having issues to update maps

I have the app, and it states “Screen Software & Mapping Updates” but no way to open, how do I get the link?

 

Forget the app, download directly the "Peugeot Update" software from the links above. That's what the MyPeugeot app tells you to do anyway.

Hello again, managed to get all the way to downloading but after 20 minutes or so got the message an 'unkown error occured check your connections' have tried a couple of times but same issue - any ideas gratefully received

 

I have installed Peugeot app on my Mac. It downloads updates and create USB disk for you.
Just plug it in your vehicle.

Pretty straightforward and I never had any issues.

Don't download the file onto the USB stick - it's probably indirectly telling you the file is too big.

I just want to say that you need to download the files in default destination folder. If you chose desktop (like i did) the app won't get you to the final step, and you can't write the file on usb.

 

Hey everyone, I need assistance. I'm attempting to update a map, but it keeps failing. I saw that previously, the flash drive should run the Clean My Drive app, but that app doesn't seem to exist anymore. Can you recommend a similar app for macOS? Also, could you please provide guidance on how to use the app? Should it be run before transferring the file to the USB, or after? If run afterward, will the data still be wiped?

Although I successfully downloaded the map from other forum., I encountered an issue while attempting to update it. A message keeps popping up, stating "Update Failed." My current firmware version is 21-08-87-32_NAC-r1.
