MyPeugeot App problems

at least 3000 less than the correct mileage
My guess is that the app is pulling the mileage from the last time the car connected (previous owner), once it connects for you it should update. The only time my mileage is out is when the app doesn't retrieve journeys. However, it's usually out by 2 to 3 miles when it is supposed to be right, God knows why.

Yesterday I did 3 journeys and the app didn't pick any up. Today I did 3 journeys and it picked up all 3. I do the same thing every time, it seems to be pot luck as to whether it works or not although there does seem be some things that I've noticed when it isn't likely to work.

Somewhere in the Peugeot FAQ's there's some guff about privacy settings on the touchscreen that may stop it from working, I'll see if I can find it.

It's here @martynwarriner. It's note B.2, You might need to consult the Handbook to find that in Settings although it my just be quicker to fumble through the touchscreen yourself. I think 'Private' mode should be off by default and I would think it's unlikely that someone's turned it on but you never know.

On the home screen of the app the, map shows a red key and a blue dot. If they aren't close together press 'Save vehicle's location'. When you launch the app and start the car, I've noticed that if the red key and the blue dot don't converge then it's unlikely to retrieve the journey. Shutting the app down and restarting it can often help.

Another method (it doesn't always work either!), is the set a route for the Sat Nav in the app before getting into the car.

Thanks for all of the input, I have sat in the car with engine on and messed with bluetooth on the phone (switched on/off a few times) and eventually the app now say connected, the mileage updated to with 1 mile so all good :) Thanks again
There are times as well when the app says 'Connected to vehicle' but still doesn't retrieve journeys, the frustrating thing is that you only find out whether it's worked or not is when you switch off.
