HI I have an 03 plate 307

it has recently started overheating when the engine is on but the car is not moving. Seems fine when being driven

HOWEVER>>>

my local garage have put a new head gasget, a new radiator, a new thermostat, a new thermostat censor and a new water pump. Yet it is still over heating.

Does anyone else have an idea of what it could be?
I am also having to put coolant in weekly and there seems to be no heat coming fromthe coolant tank when i open it

Please help it is costing me way too much already

Sounds to me like there is a blockage somewhere, which has resulted in a leak. If the coolant tank isn't getting hot, then there isn't anything being returned to it.... this should be getting rather hot to the point that you aren't supposed to be opening it until it cools down.

Did the garage not to a full flush on the system when replacing the parts? Bleed the system thoroughly afterwards?

What about the radiator cooling fan relays?

Get it diagnosed properly with a Peugeot Planet owner, that can check the relays and fan.

Seems your garage haven't a clue to have put all that into your car. Especially you having to pay for it.
This problem should be easy find before all that was done.

I had a similar issue when parked with the engine running one day, the fan had fallen apart and the blade was lying in the bottom of the front bumper. The motor was turning but obviously not driving any air around. Once home I was able to refit the fan and it has never done it again

They mayn't bled it properly, and overheating will almost certainly have compromised the new HG.

Also, did they have the head properly inspected for warping at an engineering shop? A lot of places seem to think it's fine to slap some random straight edge across it to check, but it ain't.
