I need to replace brake pads on a recently purchased 307 S 1.6 16v 2004
auto and am finding it confusing on which parts are correct. So I thought I'll take a wheel off and have a look, the spare wheel kit container is in the boot but the only thing missing is the socket to remove the anti theft bolt (original alloy wheels) but I can't seem to find one on e-bay. Can anybody tell me where I can get one?

Dealer will be able to get one for a hefty fee. Better to just get the anti theft bolts removed by a garage or decent tyre place and then replace them with normal bolts. Various methods documented on here if you want to try getting them off yourself.

They are all different, the pins are spaced differently so it's no good looking on ebay, you need to get the particular one for your car. You need to have the PIN code for your car to order a new socket. As Eccles says above your best bet is to have all the locking bolts removed at a specialist garage or tyre place and fit ordinary bolts.

Thanks for your response and good advice, I think that's the way to go and will go to my local tyre shop tomorrow and give it a go.

Thanks for the good advice. I will try to get bolts removed by local tyre shop and I'd better get on to previous owner as I do not know the PIN code, which seems might cause a few more problems
