Hi. I have a 1.0 Peugeot 208 64 plate. My issue is quite long but...last May it had a new CAT fitted as old one was cracked at Bush tyres...After that the engine management light kept coming on. So took it back...After a while they fitted a new CAT foc....August all lights came on (service, fixed and flashing management lights) and lost power, juddering etc. Had to be recovered. They suggested new spark plugs to start with as it was misfiring on 1. Then if that didn't fix it change coil packs...to be on the safe side I changed both...fine for a while...since December the flashing management light would come on loose power but still driveable but no more than 3000 revs then the light would go out and power back so all ok...took it in for a new back box and centre exhaust pipe. Came back and said the cat has a crack in it (again). Had new one fitted under warranty... now the problem from August has started again but misfiring on 3 this time (on the mechanics diagnostics..but 1 on Bush tyres diagnostics)...they are saying it could be the spark plugs/coil packs or cam shaft sensor as their diagnostic came up with pure fuel getting in the CAT (sure that's what he said)...its booked in monday to look at these issues and try and fix. They suggested swapping plug/coil pack 1 with 2..see if it happens again then they can take it from there....that afternoon flashing management light came on for a few seconds loss of power, light goes out power back and all is OK...took it back this morning and all it came back with was a random misfire but not showing any particular cylinder. So they've suggested taking it to a proper Peugeot garage or one that specialises in Peugeot....also when the mechanic look at it the other eve and he said it could be the lambda sensor?...but just wondered if any of you guys had any ideas.
Thanks in advance
