I need some help with a 307 1.4 petrol, drives fine until engine gets hot , starts jumping and there's no power in it atal, no codes and only happens when engine gets hot and drives normal when car cools down, has anyone any ideas of what it could be ?
So it still runs when it acts up. Has it had a good service very recently? When were the plugs replaced? Are they the correct ones? Start at the basics and work through the systems. Ignition, fuel and air first.
Cam/crank sensors can play up when warm causing misfiring. Check connectors and wiring to the sensors. [dont know exactly which motor you have so not sure what sensors you will have on it].
Spark plugs are also an obvious thing to check. Make sure you have the correct plugs for your engine too as incorrect ones can also cause issues.
Getting live data with PP2000/diagbox could also help pinpoint the source of your misfire.
after having my 207 written off I have purchased a 56 plate, 307 Sport, it seems the clutch pedal is high as in higher than the brake pedal which makes a very long throw, is this normal or a fault somewhere , cheers Tezz
