its a 1.4 HDI 52 plate 3dr.
We had a major fault recently which damaged the BSI caused by a short in the drivers door wiring harness. We had a BSI and emu fitted and the car starts and runs fine again.
The MFD was dicky and so i've just been and picked one up and put it on. The display shows the drivers door as open when closed, there doesnt seem to be the old fashioned pin type switch on the door pillar so how is it controlled and if it is connected and wired correctly what will reset it.

Hi hartlepaul, just to ask was the old MFD previously showing the driver's door as open? I agree with davidireland that the fault is probably in the door sensor. But as you say you had a problem with the drivers door harness, was this sorted out along with your BSI?

Yeah the wiring was sorted, the MFD was already off so not sure on that score. Is the switech separate or part of the door lock lump?
