Hi

I have a few questions after strolling through the many threads on here.

1. I am struggling find the software version on my 308 2015 model. This is what I have tried (holding down SRC for 5 seconds), gone through every menu possible.

2. The Centre Dial unit - How do i get the trip on there, doesnt seem like anyone has figured this out, or it simply does not exist on this model.
3. Can I change Centre Dial Unit about so I have more options such as the maps and directions?

Any help on this would be super helpful.

Firmware latest is on page 1 of the SMEG map update topic which is pinned to the 2014+ forum - proceed with caution as if not installed correctly it can result in a bricked SMEG+ unit.
Maps are out of date, latest maps and latest speed alerts are in the same thread - but are on later pages in the thread - the links on the front page are out of date. When you do install the maps you will need the keygen which is generated using your VIN number and the map files - the guide is on the 1st page of the SMEG topic along with the Keygen executable which you will need. The guide is good to follow. Any questions then will help further.

Worth checking the Peugeot website for updates, I got a free update for my 2015 car a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you.

Will that also change the centre dial?

If you want the centre section to show trip info or map/directions then you would need to get a set of dials from GT with matrix exclusive as they show this information.

A colleague of mine has a 2017 GT Line spec 308 & that has the upgraded instrument cluster with the centre display.

I would retrofit it to my Allure spec if I was keeping it.

IIRC the Allure has the higher spec electrical wiring system like the GT Line & above models.

I have the GT line with the Display - the right hand stalk button is used to cycle between the trip computer and the SAT NAV direction page - so presume that needs to be configured? Does it do anything on other models?

My right hand stalk button already cycles through the trip computer screens on the infotainment unit.

I think it's the left one that does nothing.
Maybe that is the one that needs configuration

Left one is for voice control in the cars with NAC.

Correct & its already configured to work when you retrofit a NAC in place of the original SMEG.

@gazbe1975

I would also like to do this. Do you have any more info what would be required to install this? What about coding ?
To be honest, I was going to give Magpie Auto (stock_aitken_waterman) a visit & let them do it all (upgrade to NAC & fit new dials) as they know what they are doing
