Hi all

Now that most of the bigger jobs are done on the 307 its now time for the small ones.

The po must have been trying to take of the heater control knobs ( the ones for fan speed , temp control and direction ) off as they are badly marked. I have new ones .

Question . How do you take them off. ?

I have done this job on a few cars to change lights. Normaly just pull them with a pair pliers . But not on the 307 no matter how hard i pull they are not moving.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

It's not straightforward, but the panel can be replaced.
I'm not sure if the cables affix at the panel end or at the flaps though.
It's a pig of a job just to change bulbs, and I wouldn't want to attempt changing it all.
For starters, the head unit has to be removed, then the buttons popped out at the top to expose screws. After removing the ashtray, more screws are exposed. The upper and lower trim can then be unclipped and removed.
Screws around the heater controls will be in view then, but apart from bulbs, I didn't know how to proceed from there.
