low speed judder.

807 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  WillNZ
I'm getting a low rev judder at the front end of the car in 1st and 2nd gear. I thought this may be a clutch problem at first but now am not so sure. There is no problem changing gear at all, smooth as silk, and still plenty of pedal left. The car runs perfectly otherwise. Its the 90 bhp so no dual mass flywheel to panic about. Any ideas/ suggestions gratefully received.

Check your lower rear engine mount from under the car, it's easy to find as your long drive shaft runs through the top of the mount. The bushing that fails is underneath this.

Just had mine done with similar syptoms in 1st and 2nd, mainly when coming off the gas.
This!
