I've knocked my front driver side mud guard and wheel arch liver today. Looks like I've lost at least one if not two clips that hold the wheel arch liner in place and the mud guard is hanging off.

Is this a garage job or can I get replacement clips and do it myself (or most likely my father will!)?

Also I live down a narrow country lane and often have to reverse out in the dark which is how I caught my mud guards in the first place. Is there a type of mud guard that doesn't hang down as much? I know I'm going to catch these again.

And yes I am both female and a new driver!:D

The liner clips can be bought from eBay normally bags of ten. I imagine you can get shorter mudflaps but it might mean drilling new holes

Easy peasy job, just buy the clips from ebay.

Then turn the wheel for access, then just pop them back in the holes.

As for the mud flaps, there are different types.

The type that fit really snug and go up the wings a little and the type that just bolt to the arch liner.

Which do you have??

T dot q you need to start your own thread as opposed to just adding to an already one. As much info on car will help regarding history of servicing engine type and size and gearbox type for a stsrt.
