my passenger side lock doesnt not lock when you press the central locking fob.

all the other doors work ok

when you open the door it says the door is open so connections seem ok

finally changed the lock all working fine now.

trouble is the way to remove it all. the top cable is hard to locate with the handle in the way

best way to do it.

1) take off door card.

2)look at the side of the door theres a rubber gromet. if its missing look inside you will see a torx screw,

3) loosen the torx bolt. it does not come out so dont force it

4) remove cover over the key lock on the front of the door

5) remove front cover of door handle

6) remove key lock completely pulling it out.

7) now the plastic door handle will come out. you may need to navigate it

8) bolt underneath handle is now visable. unscrew it

9) now working inside the door card area. wiggle the bracket free.

10) unclip top cable and

11) undo 2 bolts on the lock on the side of the door

12) the door handle inside the car. unclip it and take the cable off

13) undo power cable theres normally a cover over the wiring

lock is now free.

when refitting locate the top cable into its runners first before fitting the bracket,

i did it the completely wrong way and couldnt do it without following these instructions

number 6 is needed to get the handle off it wont come off otherwise
