Latest Touchscreen update might solve MONO issue

You can also try the french mypeugeot site: https://mypeugeot.peugeot.fr/ Log in there (connectez-vous) with same credentials as used in the app. Go to the Votre Vehicule tab and click the Voir détail button in the Mise a jour de votre système area. Then you should see if there are any updates. It is possible to download them from there but it is REALLY slow. For the mypeugeot.peugeot.fr site to work the vin has had to be entered somewhere in advance, it uses the same backend as the app so if you have entered the car there and logged in, it should show up.

I'm not very good at keeping track of the updates I have installed so far. The other day I installed PSA_ovip-int-firmware-version_42-03-31-32_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE4, I know that because I downloaded it with the Peugeot Update app but I also downloaded it from mypeugeot.fr should the app download fail (has happened...). The app deletes the downloaded files once the USB stick is created and I don't remember the filenames. It was only a system update, no new maps, 6 GB. I do think the first one or two updates I installed were wave3, then apparently it switched to wave4. I remember that map version numbers also changed when the system changed to wave4, the current maps are version 9.0.0-something dated march 2021, I think, the wave3 maps were version 12.0.0-something dated january 2021 or so. I have no idea what the difference between wave3 and wave4 might be. My guess is that if Peugeot Update app or mypeugeot.fr selects a file for your car it is probably the correct one. I prefer the app as it does all the work preparing the USB stick correctly, which is a bit of a hassle otherwise particularly when using a Mac that keeps putting hidden files on anything that comes near.

About the Peugeot Update desktop application, perhaps it is time to contact Peugeot support? Don't hope for too much, the swedish support wasn't exactly impressive, but if the desktop application is so unreliable the should be told about it at least. As I said, it worked for me two weeks ago, but then it was only the firmware (6 GB), not the big one with maps (~23 GB).

Mine is certainly lhd and I haven't had any mono-issue. Guess that's specific to rhd cars, there ought to be separate versions of touchscreen software, shouldn't it? Mono works fine i our car, mono on - changing the temperature on driver side also changes passenger side temp. Change passenger side temp and mono goes off, temperatures work separately after that. This is the way it has worked all the time, in our 308 before it was exactly the same. This should simply be the other way round in rhd cars, couldn't be much of a challenge coding that.

Our 508 SW was manufactured 2019-07 (is it 2019 or 2020 my then?) and I am almost sure that it was the original touchscreen software when we bought it in july 2020. And I am also almost sure that mono worked from the start, we have always used the mono mode.

Too bad to hear about the glove compartment in rhd. I was a bit disappointed that it is smaller in the 508 than it was in our 308. The cooling feature in the glove compartment was more efficient in the 308 as well.
