Hi, sorry if this issue has been covered elsewhere in the forum.

I have a Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 Hdi, 2013 reg. I recently had the above issue when driving on the motorway, I got the front wheels balanced and the problem has become more pronounced since. It's on the driver's side, the car drifts at high speeds, the suspension makes a repetitive knocking noise on bumpy roads, and over potholes. This is accompanied by a knocking noise when changing gear, from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd especially. Changing down is fine, and changing from fourth and fifth is fine.

I've had the car checked by my local mechanic, he said the noise when changing gears is from the caliper housing? It's not worth repairing and I'll have to live with it he said. Anyone able to a shed any light on this?

The other noise coming from the driver side definitely feels like a weak shocker, could both noises be down to that? Knowing my luck I'll change the shocker and one or both noises will still be there.

Sorry for the long post! Not sure where else to ask.
