Hi guys

My wife's 208 hdi blue snapped its timing belt on the motorway short story is the head is mangled. It was 30k short of needing the belt changed...
I can get a jbha 100hp complete engine for about the same cost as rebuilding our existing jbha 75hp
Has this been done before and will it mate to my existing gearbox?

Thanks for any advice.

All the engines are basically the same but to be honest i doubt your old engine is trashed

If you fit the replacement engine you will still have a 75hp engine as its the external parts and software that dictates the power output and you will need to reuse most of them anyway.

JBHA is not the correct engine designation anyway thats a ford code used for same engine BHY is more likely the real official peugeot code the engine is used in many different vehicles and every manufacturer calls it something different.
