No white markings, very clear. I also have a a GFB DV+ which didnt make a difference with the simple BOV. So I left the BOV until thinks get sorted so I can check (hear) when turbo is working or not.

Hi! May I know if your issue is resolved?

I have a similar problem and hope to try to troubleshoot too.

Thanks!

Hi

I had the Div valve changed and I changed the electrovalve as well. The issue remained but unfortunately Peugeot dealers around my are do not have the equipment to diagnose further so I found a turbo specialist (which I highly recommend as dealers are waste of time). They checked the pressures on the turbo and all points to the actuator. To get to that they will have to take the turbo out, so I asked them to replace the turbo it self (its onle £290 extra for a new turbo). So thats my situation, planning to book it in for end of October.
First thing would do though is for you to check your div valve (you can check it easily yourself as it only has 3 screws and its in the top :) )

Hi! Thanks for your feedback.

Mine situation is slightly more peculiar.

Was a 156THP that was upgraded to a 175THP turbo. This upgrade was matched to a larger intercooler, hi-flow cat, Bastuck exhaust. Also remapped to approx. 200bhp with this setup.

Being hungry for more power, a hybrid turbo good for 250bhp was sourced.

Prior to fitting this 250bhp turbo, several items were changed/done - leaking engine valve cover+intake pipe, new turbo vacuum pump, spark plugs and also intake valves sandblasted. The 175THP turbo ran very well with the afore-mentioned. The remap was running at 20-21psi max with brisk acceleration and feather light throttle response.

The new 250bhp turbo was fitted, but it refused to go to 20psi! It gets to 10-11 psi and gets P0299 (underboost) and goes into limp mode.

No air leaks, diverter not faulty, turbo is not faulty. Yet it underboosts. Quite frustrated. :(

Personally mate I would have got a recon turbo. At least you know its an original Peugeot. I am all for cheapness lol but when it comes to the turbo etc I would definitely get a re-con or yours serviced as mentioned.

Thanks for all info. Will the copy turbo underperform compared to the original one?
Answer to that is the answer to these questions..... would u buy cheap brake and suspension parts? Would u drive car with no oil or coolant in it?

Simple answer is no.

Hi guys, spoke with them (acturbos) this morning, its a new Garrett turbo they provide, they confirmed 12 months warranty, and they keep the old turbo for reconditioning.

If am not mistaken, Garrett turbos are supposed to be good? Please correct me if I am wrong.

They question is will I be able to know if they fit a new or reconditioned? I personally couldnt tell.

Thanks again

I can't even find a Garrett turbo for a GTI, are they sure they are supplying a Garrett?

Anyway a new price on something like that is easily £700+ with recons around the price you mentioned.

I know that peugeot uses the K03 BorgWarner Turbo, but as my knowledge is limited, do you believe that there are no Garrett turbos for the Peugeot 207 RC?
Apologies for my ignorance (maybe asking the same things)
