Hi everyone. I'm in the process of servicing the girlfriends 307 (2001, 1.6 petrol auto) and has done most everything, but have a couple things left.

1. Fuel gauge reads really really full almost all the time. Almost all the time. My head tells me this is a ground fault somewhere, if I only knew where. It will not respond to the test in pp2k.

2. Temp gauge is stuck at zero, and cooling fan never comes on. I've changed the resistor, the temp sensor in the engine block, and testet the fan directly with a 12v source (it works). The single wire sensor in the engine block should be ok as it pops to super-hot and the stop light comes on when its hot.
Testing the fan in planet does not work, neither fast nor slow.

Any ideas? Tips? Crazy things that might possibly work once in a million?

Thanks in advance:)

I'd try measuring the resistance across the tank sensor if you can get to it. Grounds are scattered all over the place on these cars!

If planet can't test the fan, I'm gonna go for fuse if you haven't already looked. I'm a bit confused you say it pops to really hot when hot, but normally just stays at zero?
