Hi, newbie here.

I have a 2003 307 estate. Great car. Starts and drives brilliantly but recently the ABS light has decided to come on once I get to 30 mph and over. Sometimes it never comes on until I hit higher speeds and others not at all.

Once the light is on, it stays that way...until I reverse (?) and then off it goes.

I am suspecting a loose sensor but unfortunately I am no longer able to fault find or do my own repairs due to illness and disability.

I know that to replace the ABS system is expensive and I wonder if it is worth repairing my car of flogging it.

Any feedback would be great

Thanks in advance.

Considering your position I would be looking for a competent local mechanic to give the car a look over in his own time for a consideration:) could well turn out a cheap fix and as you state that the car runs fine otherwise I would consider it a keeper as changing the car could result in even more problems and expense.
