How easy is it to change an inlet air temperature sensor in a 2010 Peugeot 3008 petrol engine - it seems easy but first I need to locate the sensor, can anyone help?

An Open/Short circuit, tends to mean either, a wiring issue from ECU to the sensor itself or the sensor (itself). Your odds are not in favour of it being the sensor itself until testing says so, but there is no harm in trying this first, just may be replacing one that works correctly and won't fix the issue.
I could give you testing if you provide DTC and can use multimeter.

Well, your diagnostics device should provide the code. There is chance, if is not Lexia or equal device that not reading all the codes or displaying them incorrectly as well.

The DTC code would Pxxxx, with xxxx being numbers. Unlikely to be Uxxxx DTC, but possible.

Frustratingly the picture of the diagnostics I have does not include the code! I am hoping to have the diagnostics redone within the next day or two so will get back to you.

Thanks for your time :) much appreciated.
