Hi all!

Quick question someone can hopefully help with? My 307 has recently started idling very unevenly with the revs going up and down quite a lot. Ive been reading up a bit and a idle control valve can sometimes be the problem,

After looking though Haines I couldnt find anything about it so i'm wondering if my car actually has one? If anyone knows it would be great :)

2.0 petrol 16v (rfn)

(I also dont have access to planet, I know this should be the first place to start!)

Cheers all!

Depends on whether you have by wire throttle or not. By wire was introduced from OPR 09492 and onwards.

If not, then it does have an idle control valve, Peugeot part code 1920 8X.

Example.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply!

OK, so, the way to check would be the VIN right (was that 09492?)

My last numbers are 06042 and the car is from 2003 so i'm thinking mine has the idle control valve?

Please correct me if im way off here :)
