Hi everyone! It's my first time in these forums and I would like to start off with a question. I was doing some work in the engine bay when I noticed this (yellow/black) plug/sensor just hanging freely. It's located behind and close to the throttle body. I couldn't find any place to plug it in to, and didn't see any parts number to search for. I wonder what it is and if it's supposed to be like that? If it's a bad picture I'll get a better one.

I have a 306 1.8L -00

I don't really follow, is it supposed to be connected to something or is it like that from factory, or are you asking the same question as I?

Like that from the factory.
Many car makers will use 1 wiring loom for several different models of the same car type as this reduces carrying a whole variety of different looms in stock and thus reduces their costs !
