Hi, for a while ago my hud display didn't want to go up. It happened sometimes. But now it have stopped working completely when I start the car. I have succeeded to remove the hud display(Was NOT easy). My first thought was that the stepper motor had a malfunction. I tried to see if the projector works. So I raised the display manually and started the car and the hud display instantly folded back. So the stepper motor seems to work fine. I unplugged the stepper motor and tried again to see if the projector works but nothing was shown on the display.
What can be the problem?
And is it possible to test this Hud display "outside" the car somehow?

Can you please explain how did you manage to remove the HUD? i know there is a bolt behind the main display unit, but i saw that there are 2 more bolts, how did you manage to get to them? I have a simmilar problem with my HUD, it makes a strage sound when i try to open/ close it and i belive there is some sort of mechanical issue and I want to check it.
