HUD Clicking No display

hi ive the same sort of problem with my car what did you do to resolve this thank you

sadly .... no replies where for coming from 2016 or 2017 .....

It's not touching the windscreen on the way up is it? If the screen has been replaced with the wrong type the HUD will hit it and go back down again.

3008 HUD faulty

The plastic screen comes up, goes down then comes up again and stays up.
There is NO LCD display projected onto the screen.
The buttons on the dash for brightness, screen position just make the screen go down and up again. I heard a small dome sensor is on the front of the car somewhere and could cause a problem is wet or dirty but cant find it.
Anyone have any ideas ?

I know this is an old thread but I had this problem also and have since repaired my HUD unit. The fault is the forward position limit switch, I replaced mine with one from another broken HUD and now mine works perfectly

Hi Martin I have same problem , just quick question what is (forward position limit switch) Where is located ? Thank you very much
