Hi, I would like to get to the black bar behind the front grille on my 55 plate 307 (the one on my avatar). All the paint is coming off the bar and needs a re-spray but I'm not going to start something if it means removing dozens of clips & screws.

Can the grille be removed seperately?

Thanks, Steve

hi,,once removed i would fit the purpose made protector onto the alloy crash bar, they were made as a mod to prevent further flaking and lot's were fit under warranty.
not expensive either.

Oh crap, was hoping you'd say you can just remove the grille.

Nothing is ever that easy anymore :nono:

Will enquire about the purpose made protector, thanks.

Will take a look tomorrow weather permitting. Thanks for a quick response :thumb:
