Hi all,

As the title says, what is the correct way to disable the fuel injection so I can do a compression test without the cylinders firing?
The car is a 307 2.0 HDi 110bhp.

Please be specific, such that if I need to remove a certain connector please describe exactly where it is.

Man thanks,
Steve

Disconnect the electrical connector on the injector(s) there is only one connector.

** DO NOT UNPLUG INJECTORS WITH ENGINE RUNNING IT CAN CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO ENGINE AND INJECTORS/ECU.**

You will also have engine light on due to faults logged these will cear after a few trips in the car or with a code reader

Thank you both for your replies.

Before you responded I got hold of a Haynes manual and it said to disconnect the ECU so I did that instead and it worked fine.
I have PP so can always reset any codes that may show up.

I'll start another thread to ask a few questions about the results of the test.
