I have a 307 2.0 HDI 90HP engine. Haynes says a coolant change should be 8.2L I am not managing to get that much out or in... is there a drain plug somewhere. What am i missing?

Thats based on a dry system. Best advise don't read the book, it'll only drive you insane! Fill it to the correct level and rev engine to 1500rpm until fan cuts in and then open each bleed nipple in turn to let further air out. Job done.

Cheers David. I have spend the day changing the bumper and wing and thought the coolant looked brown, plus the wife was moaning it took and age to warm.

I'll get it out the garage and warm her up tomorrow.

While you are there, I've had the car for around 6 years and to my shame never changed the brake fluid. How much will I need?

One peugeot genuine brake fluid bottle will suffice. Make sure its dot 4.
