How is the reliability of the new 2008?

Well, I've only had my 1.2 EAT8Allure since November and only done just over 1K miles. In terms of mechanical and electrical reliability it's been fine so far. Not so convinced about the panel fit and general assembly standards but it's 'ok'.

Have to agree.

Puretech engine, it great to drive & excellent fuel economy - shame about its long term durability & potential high ownership repair costs outside of warranty.

My next vehicle won't have 3 cylinder, or a timing belt in oil or be anything made by PSA.

Extremely disappointed and won’t be getting a Peugeot again. From the day I got the car, the panel fit is dreadful. Gaps in the doors, boot lid doesn’t sit flush and has to be shut harder than normal to lock. There’s a rattle behind the dashboard at low revs which is loud for a few days then disappears for a few days then comes back again. My rear passenger side window is currently broken after getting jammed fully open after the something failed and awaiting a spare part which has taken 3 weeks so far. My stop start has just failed too so no longer works (maybe a good things as i turn it off a lot as it’s so annoying with automatic transmission). Only done 4K miles. Already looking forward to swapping to a different manufacturer. I had a 2018 3008 before this. Less problems. Only main issue being the auto fold wing mirrors failing on that after owning it for 2 weeks!

We bought one in November 2019, a bit of a disappointment. Glovebox is tiny, especially compared to our old 307 and 206. The 1.2 engine is fairly powerful but it is a bit unreliable, we were getting urgent repairs needed messages all the time, it was annoying as it was intermittent so the dealer couldn't diagnose it. The seats are hard and the metal gear stick is scalding hot in the summer, and freezing cold in the winter, so you can't touch it. Its an okay car its just designed to put form over function.

Peugeot glovebox size issue on right hand drive cars is because PSA is now to lazy to move the BSI unit / re engineer the car properly when they move the steering wheel over to the other side.

The older models they did do a proper job.
