hi i believe the p0238 is Anti Pollution Fault and the others are todo with the egr valve but as you state you have had this blanked off was wondering if this has been removed from ecu as if not this is why its throwing up the p0490,p0409 fault if the egr was removed from the ecu why was the egr removed was it due to the fault codes as sometime the ecu can be faulty and not the egr valve

I read the codes on this and as I understand it the egr was replaced with a new one but the car still smoked heavily when running so the original egr was put back on and then blanked.
For some reason planet wouldn't access the engine ecu to get any readings when it was running.
Would P0238 cause the smoke? white smoke by the way.
