Hi all

I have a peugeot 307 1.4 HDI on a 53 plate. Lately it has been cutting out and putting up a antipollution fault on the screen.
I've also picked up and got working a lexia 3 diagnostic kit.
As title suggests it is coming up with a P0087 fault.

ECU fault code P0087
engine speed 8095 rpm
rail pressure 643 bar
rail pressure reference value 1121 bar
pump flow setting 2098 Mm3/sec
pump output regulator current 117mA

My question would be about the revs 8095 rpm is very high, is there a different rev feed to the ECU than the tacho on the dash as i am not seeing high figures on the dash?

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated

Hi

It is a high pressure fault from what i under stand at the moment the ECU is asking for 1121 bar and the car is producing 643 bar. From the data i have the ECU also thinks the engine is doing 8095 rpm!! so i think it is asking for to much fuel to try make the engine run at 8095 rpm.

Hope this makes sense.
