As per the title, I had a Parrot CK3100 installed in my 2010 308 hatchback (1.6 diesel Sport 110).

The installation was brilliant, until driving home one day about 3 weeks ago, the sticky pads parted company with the dash.

Quick trip to Halfrauds later, left with some number plate mounting pads ("these'll stick ANYthing, mate"!). Driving home today - the pads parted company with the dash!!!

I'm thinking this is more a problem with the type of material the dash is made from than the quality of the pads - so can anyone recommend a 308 proof double sided pad - or, a mounting bracket that can be screwed onto the dash??? For info, the display is mounted to the right of the wheel, just above the crease line which is above the headlamp height adjuster wheel. UK RHD car!

Same car, same Parrot, but I put mine to the left of the wheel above the radio on the black part. As the unit had been used before, I just used normal sticky foam pads. Had no problem.

If the sun shines on it, the sticky can almost melt. Also is the wire to the display pulling it?
Have you used any polish on that part of the dash? That can inhibit things sticking to it.

I've never been able to get anything to stick to the textured plastics on Peugeots or any othe car. If there is a smooth plastic you might have a chance. Failing that, Find a suitable and fairly small and easily replaceable piece of trim, Buy a spare and screw the thing on. Then when you decide to part with the car you can fit the replacement trim to avoid losing out on resale value.
