Hi All,

I'm having some bother with my newly purchased 307cc.
It's an 07 plate and the Glove box and map reading lights are not working.

I've checked the fuse and the bulbs and they're fine but looking in the handbook the fuse is also for the front and rear courtesy lights, but they work.

Therefore I can only think that the issue is with the wiring for the map reading lights and the glove box lights.

Does anyone know where the wiring connects to the main fuse board? Is it directly at the rear of the box or elsewhere which may have come loose?

thanks in advance

I have trawled through the internet and may have found a possible solution:
glovebox light, map lights, vanity lights not working » Peugeot 407 forum » Peugeot Central

Has anyone else done a BSI reset and is it likely to fix this? If so, what possible implications could this have on other parts of the car if I do this.

Basically I don't want to cause another issue just to fix some lights which I'm not particularly bothered with. but then this will bug me for a while if it's not sorted. :)

Wiggle the ign key and see if they come on. I had same issue with 807 and it was a faulty ign switch
