I've been reading the articles here about "2004 Peugeot 206 and the oil light comes on when I stop, and the digital display showing squares with a 7 at the end!". Thanks guys, but I have another question about this topic. My 206 also "on center display shows "going into economy mode" plus temp of engine remains low (great) but the oil temp meter sits in the middle, I think 70"
All this has started since I paid Halfords a full service but had to pay extra for the spark plugs (yes they not included in the service), but Halfords then recommened a complete internal engine clean on the oil and petrol side, so I had to say yes, as they are the pro's I'm not. Yeah £280 for it all.
My question is "could Halfords have left the plug off the oil pressure sensor or something, to do the oil clean, which I presumed they had to disconnect for this test? I know don't assume! What do you think Halfords has done to cause all these errors?
