Hi all,
Hoping someone could shed some light
I have a 207 and for the last couple of day my car electrics have gone haywire, I keep getting various warning lights one after the other, first it started with my brake light going out, now I'm getting the stop abs I had part of the circuit board reconditioned 2months ago, it's now showing again followed by anti pollution power steering keeps failing, engine management light is on and also my speedo keeps dying could anyone shed some light on what's causing this I rang my local Peugeot dealer and they didn't have a clue what going on

You'll need to test the voltages across the battery terminals. You're looking for 12v when the engine is not running, and with the engine running you need about 14.4v.

Also have the earths checked for any loose connections.

You can have the car diagnosed on Diagbox and see what the anti-pollution fault is relating to. It may help with the electrical gremlins too.

What was the reason for having the circuit reconditioned? Do you know what part was reconditioned? There are a few different control units containing circuit boards, so it'd help a little more if we could identify what was reconditioned.

You can try a BSI reboot, if you use the search box and type BSI reset, you should be able to get the procedure.

I took my car to the garage this afternoon unfortunately the car was not communicating at all with the machine, i forgot to ask them about the battery I think one of the solenoid was at fault and it fried the circuit bored,

I'm sorry I can't remember what part was replaced as it was my partner that felt with it at the time it was in the garage
