Finally got round to replacing the resistor on my 307cc auto climate control,absolute doddle after all the help from previous threads,must have taken me 1 hour tops, hardest bit was getting the fan motor out from under the dash but seemed to go back in easier.
So a big thanks to all who have inputted to this inherent problem as it makes it so much easier for anyone else trying it.
Strange thing was the plug that fits on the resistor has only four contacts being used but the resistor has five so one of them has no wire going to it.
Oh well all seems to work on all speeds so happy days.

the auto version and the wiring seems better then the other type anyway


like you say itsa bit tight to get it in and out but allgood in the end:)

Glad to read this did one on my 206 gti and was hoping the 307 would be similar as no doubt i'tl need doing at some point. I found the same as you really that it went in easier than it came out
