i have a peugeot 307 1.6 s. my heater is a manual one with speed settings 1,2,3,4.. i was driving yesterday when it suddenley stopped working, now i have air coming from numbers 1,2 and 3 but the 4th speed nothing comes out.. anybody out there that can help ???

Remove the interior motor and check the connection on the resistor. It may be melted. Might not be anything wrong with the resistor itself.

Remove glovebox. Disconnect the connector on the interior heater motor. Twist motor clockwise and pull outwards.
When you remove the motor you will have to put your hand an feel the top of the heater box, the resistor will be pointing downwards.
Turn the resistor clockwise and downwards. Disconnect it and make sure the connector does not go back into the top of the heater box. You will not get it out!
Check the resistor for signs of melting. If there is you will need a resistor and a heater motor wiring loom. If not then further diagnosing will be needed.
